This course is online and is designed for center directors, center owners, and/or other staff in supervisory positions. This course will review the responsibilities of child care center administrators related to human resources. Participants examine three main components in human resources administration: utilization, development, and environment. Topics covered include selection, placement, induction, compensation, motivation, staff development, and the legal aspects of personnel administration.
Prerequisites: Must be able to fluently read and write English.
Instructional Techniques: Read written material; view videos; listen to audio segments.
Methods of Assessment: Final Lesson Multiple Choice Quizzes and Short Essay Assignments.
