This course is online and is designed for all child care center staff. It provides 2 clock-hours of training in Emergency and Disaster Preparedness for child care. This course will touch upon the written emergency plan specific to your facility; planning for the needs of children during emergencies; planning and drilling for emergency situations.
Prerequisites: Must be able to fluently read and write English; two evacuation locations at your facility.
Instructional Techniques: Read written material; view videos; listen to audio segments.
Methods of Assessment: Final Lesson Multiple Choice Quizzes and Short Essay Assignments.
